Unfortunately we cannot possibly keep all of the cats we have ever had in our home, if we did, we'd not only be cutting into the quality of care that we can give to the individual cats, but we would also take away from the family feel to our home having so many cats, and take away the family feel from the cats as well. We like our cats to be as much of a part of our daily activities as possible. So, once our beloved kitties retire, we usually place them with loving forever families, however some will retire in our home forever if we have the space. The photo album below shows the many cats that have been loved by us but are no longer in our home. .

The one that started it all... She was the most beautiful creature I had ever laid eyes on. I still think of her to this very day. My Angel was my very best friend. I loved her like a daughter. She was not only pretty... but she was loving and gentle. I found her in an ad that was posted on Kijiji, only it wasnt even HER in the picture... it was her little sister that was being featured. I inquired about the beautiful cat in the background of the picture, and sure enough, she was available!! Angel joined my family in December of 2006, she was 4ish months old but appeared to be MUCH much older by her sheer size. She was not a dainty little girl by any means... usually jumping down from my bed with a loud THUNK!! Angel was never shown, but she had the personality for it. The "Oh! Hello, have you met ME yet?" kind of personality. She lived for attention, and she passed that trait on to every single one of her babies. Angel crossed the rainbow bridge due to an illness from a vaccine that she was given... a hard and painful lesson learned,
but one that will never be forgotten.

Miss Jewel was spayed during a c-section that saved her life. One of the babies was too large to pass and was stuck, unfortunately this also damaged her uterus and . It broke my heart to have to spay her as I knew that we did not currently have the space to keep her. I will miss her terribly, but once her babies are ready to go to their new homes, Miss Jewel will be going to live with her hew family in Ottawa Ontario. Thank you Darlene D and family for taking in our precious Jewel. Miss Mew will always be loved and cherished as a member of our family, and now her new family, has become our extended family. Miss Mew will be leaving here after she goes to the All About Pets show in Mississauga in April, but for now, she is staying here where I will be praying that the days do not go by too quickly.. probably the opposite of the Dessureault family's wishes haha!!
